Thank you for your interest in becoming a Product Champion and supporting your colleagues to learn our new IT System.
A Product Champion can be anyone at Columbia Aged Care, in fact we have specifically nominated some Champions so we have people from many different roles within our homes.
You have specifically been asked to be involved because you have demonstrated an interest in technology and often support your colleagues to solve technical problems.
To get involved please speak with your Facility or Care Manager.
Product Champions will be trained first and asked to give their feedback and share their thoughts on how the training is structured and delivered.
Product Champions will attend a paid full-day training session at the Google Offices.
Product Champions will attend a paid full-day training to support the Columbia Aged Care Management Team when they receive their training. This will ensure you are very familiar with the training material.
Product Champions will be paid to support their colleagues by attending their training sessions over a three week period.
Product Champions will support their colleagues on the floor during shifts to help everyone us the new IT System.
Step 1
Finding out more is the first step, well done, you've already done it.
Step 2
Next you'll receive an email with Training Schedule and the important dates for the sessions where you will support your colleagues as they undertake their IT Training.
Step 3
You'll be asked to complete a survey on your current understanding of Google Chrome and share your ideas for how to ensure the success of our new IT System.
Step 4
Then we will email you links to the Online Training Modules, which you can familiarise yourself with before you attend your Full-Day Training Session at the Google Offices.
Step 5
You will attend a paid Full-Day Training session on Tuesday, February 7 and we will again ask for your feedback and ideas.
Step 6
You will be rostered to support your colleagues in their Training Sessions over a three-week period.
Step 7
You'll help out your colleagues on the floor during your shifts when they are learning the new IT system.
Step 8
You will always be paid for training time and extra staff will be rostered, where possible, to make sure you have time to help your colleagues.
