There are five key goals for the training:
Deliver introductory training for all staff to support the uptake of the new IT system
Identify early-adopter staff to support ongoing training and mentoring
Ensure key staff in each facility have sufficient skill level to continue training and onboarding new staff
Monitor the effectiveness of the training programme via a staff survey
Track staff training with capacity to deliver upskilling when required
Team members at Chatswood and Strathdale will be visting Google Headquaters to participate in face-to-face training. Training for Oberon team members will be taking place at the facility! Additional support will be made available for all staff including:

chrome support 'hubs' setup in each facility around the time of the upgrade; and

Product Champions are Columbia team members who have shown leadership qualities, enhanced IT skills and/or a willingness to help others!
Product Champions will be rostered onto as many shifts as possible and are available to support staff who have questions or who are having any trouble with the new computer system.

Walk down the path to the building and you will see a rotating glass door, go into the foyer to meet your colleagues and the wonderful Google Staff!
We are guests in someone else's workplace, and we need to follow their rules
Please arrive early! Employees at Google have been specially scheduled to let you in and out of the building at specific times.
If you are late, you cannot be let in and you cannot attend training.
We must stay in the training room except for restroom breaks - we cannot wander around the building.
There is no access outside of the building for cigarette breaks or to 'feed the parking meter' during training, you will have to wait until the scheduled finish time.
We must all please be respectful of Google staff, the trainers, and each other.
Columbia is adopting Google as its core IT system, to give you faster computers, and to make your life just a little bit easier at work every day.
Google has been kind enough to partner with Columbia and Honestally, to provide a great training facility, large enough to host our staff with everything we need.
Staff at Google are going above and beyond to help Columbia and you!
We understand attending the training requires extra effort and organisation, but we really hope you can make the most of a great experience at Google and learn about the computers and systems we'll be using in the near future.
