Yes! Every staff member will have a new 'work' email address, however, not every person will be able to email outside of our organisation.
Email addresses will be in the following format:
'firstname.surname@cnh.com.au'
The email addresses can be used by staff to communicate internally and it is important that email inboxes are checked at least once per shift. This is because important information, alerts and updates will be sent to you via email once the new computers are installed. If you have any questions, please speak with your facility manager or contact the project hotline on 1800 482 559.
Every staff member will have their own Yubikey so they can login to their work devices at work. You are responsible for your Yubikey so please keep it safe!
You're Yubikey is configured so only you can use it when logging into your account.
This means that a colleague cannot use your Yubikey to login to their account.
It is important you don't lose your Yubikey as it is an expensive device that is difficult to replace.
In the unlikely event you do lose your Yubikey, we can re-configure a new one for you so you can continue to access your work devices. If there are repeated offences from losing your Yubikey, you may be asked to pay the cost of a replacement which is approximately $100 AUD.
Yes! The YubiKey is crush-resistant and water-resistant but please do your best to look after them and keep them safe.
It is a requirement at Columbia to ensure that all the files that are saved in your My Drive are moved to the appropriate 'Shared Drive' prior to the end of each shift.
To move a file in your My Drive, simply right click the file, a pop-up of different options will appear, click 'move to' from this pop-up to select which shared drive you would like to move your file to.
Do this for all the files in your My Drive at the end of your shift.
Note: In some cases you may have a file in your My Drive that does not need to be saved in a shared folder in Google Drive because it is only specific to you but should still be kept on file for your role. For example, your personal police check application. This is only in rare cases and usually won't be relevant to most employees.
